Hello and welcome to my review on Mario Strikers Charged. I will tell you more about what the stadiums and the characthers rarther than doing a proper review like Alex.

Items; Items can be obtained when performing a charged shot (by holding B). Most of the items are from the Mario Kart Series so some of you may be farmilliar with them. Here are all the items: Green, Red and spotted shells, Banana Skins, Bo-omb, Chain Chomp, Mushrooms (avalible on it’s own and in a three pack) and the power star.

Each team always consists of a captain (avalible Below) and 3 sidekics who have special things, like a hammer and digging. I will now tell you about each character and what’s good and bad about them.

1.) Mario: The main characther in the game who is a mixed player of fitness, speed and power and his ability to win, his super ability is to grow big a crush the oposing team’s players.

2.) Luigi: Luigi is well balanced with speed and power and his ability is to grow just like his brother, Mario.

3.) Peach: Peach’s passing is in top shape, same for her speed, her ability is to leave players standing with a snapshot.

4.) Daisy: Daisy can desend mostly anyhting and is fast and phisical her spikey crystal sheild can defend enemy’s around her at the time .

5.) Yoshi: Yoshi is a balanced captin who will roll in an ball to get the win he fight’s for

6.) Donkey Kong: Mr Angry pants has all the power and would smash thte stadium to bits to win, and is that doesn’t stop oppornets he will wham them with thunder so watch out!

7.) Waligui: He’s as quick as a flash and can disappear and reappear at any moment it’s Waligui and his abilty into a wall of vines to block his opponents

8.) Wario: This ugly striker can let off gas fums to disable his opponents, it may be Wario and he may be slow but will try and score at will.

9.) Bowser: This guy has power and will release fire if you get him to angry, he may be slow but he can shoot that ball and really kill the goalkeeper if he got in the way. 

 

For those of you who don’t want to know which characthers you can unlock skip down to the “spoiler zone over logo”

There are players who you can unlock after doing certain things and here they are:

1.) Diddy Kong: factfile coming soon

2.) Petey: Same as above

3.) Bowser Jr: Same as above

 Phew!

Sidekicks: There are three on a team and are actually quite useful and here they are:

1.) Toad: Brilliant passer and very fast and would go best cinderfince but when he shoots he can make the ball flying metor.

2.) Boo scary little ghost with incredible speed and his long distance shots help you at the winning and when he gets the chance he can possessthe ball

3.) Dry bones: A specilist at defending he is fast and when he hits a player with his shot he is pretty it will hurt beacuse he sends the ball that has been electrifeel.

4.)Monty Mole:A powered back tooth mole which can shoot very well as he can dig underground and sneek up behind the goal keapper and can put the ball in the goal. he is pretty slow and weak at passing which gives advantage to the other team.

5.) Koopa: koopa is a allaround player and is for the team his shell smash through can send the goal keaper to the ground with makes it an easy goal.

6.) Birdo: A hard witting pretty white bird who does some sensational shoots which are feared by  the goalkeaper its called egg shot

7.) Hamemr bros: a hammering power slidekick who looks a bit like a duck his brilliant skills off passing and shooting come in handy his clearence and spead is disapointing but his hammer threw shot send goalies ducking for cover.

8.) Shy guy: An averige skilled player who is to shy to show his own face but he can blast a keaper out of the way with his bullet billiant. shot giving a clear bath to score.

stadiams: the first stadiums you get will come across are quite easy

1.) The vice:this big stadium has thousands of fans and some of the greatest striker games are held there. the obstacles are the pressure are of the fans

2.) Thunder i land: the big wild and clectrying thunder is a bit of a problem you could get blown of the stadium hit by thunder or hit by  flying objects so watch out.

3.) sandtomb: as stadium desert this pitch has the danger of being squished by a big thwamp you can get slowed down by the sand pitts in the middle of the pitch which makes it easier to takal there are more stadiums that are even more dangerous then these ones but i’ll leave it to you to unlock them 

mega strikes: this is a shot that can only be shot by the captin it will give you multiple balls which makes it harder for the keaper to save them. press and hold b on whatever could (orange is highest) . A star that the counter green and orange will appear and press b on ethier coller to predict how fast the balls will go (again orange is the fastest but is the fastest but is the harder to get) then your captain will fly up into the air and try and score as many goals as possible the cppoposing team will become the goal keaper and score  the goals by pressing a on a ball that comes towords them. (the faster the balls the harder it is to score them

i suggest you should get the game as it is very competitive and fun. hope you enjouid my reveiw.     

Mario And Sonic At The Olympic Games Review: By Alex Adams

Genre: Sports

 Just wonder if one day you could have Mario and Sonic both together in one game. Well now you can with M&S at the olympic games which combines them together in one fun action packed sport event game. It is all based on the olympics at Bejing in 2008 and you play lots of events from the real olympics. Being done by Sega you may of though this might of made it that good, but don’t worry as Sega have made this game as good as they could make it. In Mario and Sonic there are two teames, teams, Team Mario and Team Sonic, which are basicaly all of the best Mario and Sonic characthers. With over 20 events including 4 dream events which are not really from the olympics but are races which are a bit like Mario Kart.

One of my faviorte events in the archery as it is so realistic with the remote. That is not all the modes however as there is a stadium mode where you can play 60 events where you get to pick the characthers and do 6 events which require you to do a certian things. There is also a Wi-Fi mode where you put your onto the world leaderboard see how good you are at each event . That is not all as there is a gallery mode where you can play mini-games and you must get a certian score to unlock some trivia about the olympics. There are some really good control methods which really feel like you are doing that sport. The graphics are also great i really never thought they would be this good. To get maxium enjoyment out of this game you really need to play the the multiplayer (you could buy wii play to get a free remote). It lets use up to four players and is a great part of the game. This should be the game you buy for the olympics in 2008.

Final Verdict:

Graphics: Really inpresive you can’t see any pixels and the opening movie is truly stunning.

Gameplay: Easy to get to use after a few goes and is great fun.

Music: Quite a good music score and is better than having no music at all.

 Really fun events

 Load to do here you wont finish it for a while

 Stunning graphics

 Controls really work

 Table tennis really sucks

This a great sports game and you should really get it if you like sports and want to see Mario and Sonic in one game.

It’s one of those games that you will remember for a long time in your life. Yes Super Mario Galaxy is a enjoyable platformer which will have you hooked for months. Like lots of mario games, this one has a brilliant story. Princess Peach get abducted by the evil bowser and then takes her up in space to his lair. It is then up to Mario to go and rescue her. You start the game on a small planet where you meet a star lover, called Rosalina and she take you to her observatry where you must go round various levels and collect power stars to restore power at her observatry.

The lovley sweet graphics in this game are simply fanatastic and actually makes it more fun to play, there are times where you just want to stand there and admire the scenery. I also just have to comment on the fantastic music in this game. Unlike some games this ones all done with real instruments unlike some game which are done with a synthisyser. What makes this game so good is that it actually fits into the game for example when you go slowly the music will be quite peaceful and when you are in crisis situations the music with be quite loud. If you have a wii you have simply got to get this amazing game.

• Graphics: Like i said earlier simply fantastic with hardly any pixles, makes the game more fun to play
• Gameplay:Very enjoyable with an exellent story line to follow.
• Music: Simply amazing with some excellent scores.

Well fantastic Nintendo have made a game that anyone with a tiny gaming can get use to. A must buy for wii.
